Put your ABS to work! For added revenue, plastic scrap recycling is the real deal.
This plastic is best known simply as ABS—and with a name like acrylonitrile-butadiene styrene, it’s easy to see why. It’s also clear why ABS is such a popular resource. For starters, this lightweight plastic is easy to process but surprisingly tough, more durable than styrene alone. It also has a wide range of applications and is used in everything from protective headgear to plastic bags, printers, musical instruments, kitchen appliances, and more. First used in the 1940s, ABS is now a staple of plastic wholesalers around the world.
At Polychem USA, we buy ABS in bulk. As one of the leading recyclers of plastic scrap in the USA, we shred used ABS to produce the raw materials of new products. So yesterday’s toys become tomorrow’s automotive parts, shopping bags are transformed into telephones, and even vacuum cleaner housings get turned into luxury luggage! If you’re interested in becoming one of our plastic scrap suppliers, call or contact us to learn more about our ABS requirements.
