Now that pandemic restrictions have eased, many of you are back on the road visiting customers to help solve their problems and talk about new technology. Some of you may even be involved with planning your company’s exhibit at K 2022. Many have called or emailed me asking to for more time to submit your title and abstract for the Extrusion 2022 Conference.

Owing to these factors, we have extended the deadline for those interested in presenting to Friday, July 22.

Plastics Technology’s Extrusion 2022 Conference will be held Dec. 6-8 at the Omni Charlotte Hotel in Charlotte, N.C., and, yes, the submission process is still open.

Please go here to begin. Then click on Continue to Application to start the process. From there, you will be prompted to submit your Title, Quick Summary, Event Type and Abstract (the Quick Summary and Abstract can be the same). Then you will be asked to submit information on the Contact and the Presenter (they can also be the same).

Event Type refers to the session in which you would like to speak. As with previous Extrusion Conferences, we will have morning General Sessions, in which presentations will be applicable to all types of extrusion processors; followed by three afternoon concurrent sessions on Film/Sheet, Pipe/Profile/Tubing, and Compounding. Please use the Event Type dropdown to pick among these four sessions.

Again: The deadline to submit your title and abstract is July 22.

Once we have reviewed the submissions, we will advise as to what further steps are necessary.
